Christina Baker, Nurse Practitioner
Christina Baker is a Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly three decades of experience in healthcare, beginning her career in 1998. Christina also has a special interest in wellness-focused care, including testosterone therapy for men and women, hormone optimization and peptide therapy. She works with patients who want to improve energy, support hormone balance, improve metabolism, and take a more personalized approach to overall wellness.
In addition to primary care and wellness services, Christina provides care for musculoskeletal concerns, including joint injections as well as evaluation and treatment of dermatological conditions, including skin biopsies.
Christina is passionate about helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their health. Her goal is to provide practical, comprehensive care that helps patients feel and function their best.

Cheryl Layne is the founder of Whitehouse Family Medical and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and clinic leadership. She established the clinic with a mission to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to the East Texas community.
Cheryl holds certification as an Integrative Health Practitioner and focuses on wellness, prevention, and root-cause approaches to health, including training in IV nutrient therapies and Functional Nutrition. She is currently completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker University.
While completing her doctoral training, Cheryl continues to work behind the scenes helping guide the growth and development of Whitehouse Family Medical and supporting its focus on primary care, functional medicine, and whole-body wellness.
