Diabetes Pre-Diabetes

Elevated fasting glucose or A1C reflects insulin resistance and impaired glucose metabolism. Early intervention with diet modification, exercise, and weight management can prevent progression. Persistent hyperglycemia indicates diabetes, requiring individualized treatment to prevent microvascular and cardiovascular complications.

Elevated Cholesterol

High cholesterol can increase the risk of heart disease over time. It may be related to diet, genetics, hormones, or inflammation. Improving nutrition, exercise, and stress management can help lower levels naturally.

Elevated Estrogen

Elevated estradiol may result from ovarian or adrenal overproduction, excess body fat, impaired detoxification, or exogenous hormone use. Further assessment includes progesterone ratio and liver function support.

Elevated Platelet Count

Platelets rise when your body is healing, fighting inflammation, or low in iron. Usually temporary, but if levels stay high, we may check for other causes to keep your blood healthy and balanced.

Elevated Liver Function

Higher liver enzymes can signal irritation or inflammation in the liver. Common causes include medications, alcohol, viral infections, fatty liver, or metabolic stress. Follow-up labs and lifestyle review help determine the cause and next steps.

Elevated Hemoglobin

Higher hemoglobin levels mean your blood carries more oxygen than usual. This can occur from dehydration, smoking, living at high altitude, or certain medical conditions. Your provider may recheck labs or evaluate oxygen and hydration status.

Fatty Liver

Fatty liver occurs when extra fat builds up in liver cells. It’s often linked to insulin resistance, high cholesterol, or alcohol use. Early stages are reversible through diet, exercise, and liver-supportive care.

Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

This is an autoimmune thyroid condition. Your body makes antibodies that affect thyroid function, often causing fatigue, brain fog, and weight changes. We’ll monitor your thyroid levels and focus on supporting both thyroid and immune health.

Iron Deficiency Anemia

This occurs when your body doesn’t have enough iron to make healthy red blood cells. Common causes include low dietary iron, blood loss, or poor absorption. Symptoms may include fatigue, weakness, or dizziness. Iron-rich foods and supplements help restore levels.

Low Platelet Count (Thrombocytopenia)

Platelets help your blood clot. A low count can increase bruising or bleeding risk. Causes may include medications, viral illness, or nutrient deficiencies. Follow-up testing helps find the reason

Low Testosterone

Low testosterone can cause fatigue, low mood, weight gain, or decreased libido. It may result from aging, stress, nutrient deficiencies, or hormone imbalance. Treatment focuses on restoring optimal levels through lifestyle and medical support.

MTHFR Gene Mutation

This gene helps your body use B-vitamins for energy and detox. Some people process these vitamins less efficiently, which can affect mood, focus, and heart health. We may recommend methylated forms of B12 and folate.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

PCOS is a hormone imbalance that can cause irregular periods, acne, excess hair growth, or difficulty with weight and fertility. It’s often linked to insulin resistance. Treatment focuses on balancing hormones, supporting metabolism, and improving cycle regularity.

Scleroderma

An autoimmune condition that causes the body to produce excess collagen, leading to skin tightening and sometimes affecting organs. Symptoms can include thickened skin, joint stiffness, or circulation issues. Treatment focuses on managing inflammation and supporting affected systems.

Vitamin B12

B12 helps your body make red blood cells and supports energy, focus, and mood. Low levels can cause fatigue, tingling, or brain fog. Your level guides whether oral or injectable support is best.

Vitamin D Deficiency

Low vitamin D can affect bone strength, immune function, and mood. Common causes include limited sun exposure or poor absorption. Supplementation and safe sunlight can help restore healthy levels.
