Billie Huff

FNP-C, PhD

Billie is a practicing Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years’ experience in a variety of medical practice environments. Her first opportunity as a Nurse Practitioner was in a cardiology setting and eventually she became the sole clinician in a rural cardiology clinic. Later she taught Nursing in the RN program at Panola College, developing its first online pharmacology program. She was later selected to spearhead the implementation of The University of Texas HSC at Tyler’s first entry into rural healthcare involving nursing homes and assisted living facilities. After 10 years at UT, she moved to the Dallas area for a brief period to work in Pulmonary Medicine returning recently to East Texas where she has always called "home".
